What are your business hours?
Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We typically respond to inquiries within 24 hours.
What should I send when I ask for an estimate?
Include your city, the type of project, the rooms or areas involved, your preferred timing and a few photographs. Share any plans, measurements or known property constraints you already have. A walkthrough helps establish the scope before a written proposal.
What does the proposal cover?
The project process includes a written scope, selections and price. Review what is included and excluded, the payment schedule, proposed timing and any workmanship terms with us before approving the work.
Do you carry liability insurance?
Dancey Creative Contracting maintains liability insurance. Current coverage documentation is available upon request when discussing your project.
What workmanship warranty do you offer?
Work performed by Dancey Creative Contracting is covered by a workmanship warranty of up to three years. Where a covered issue is attributable to our workmanship, the required labour and materials to correct it are included. Owner-related issues are eligible for coverage for one year when the repair value is under $500. The applicable warranty terms are confirmed in the written project agreement.
What if I want to change the project?
Raise changes as early as possible. Ask to review their effect on the scope, price and timing, and have the agreed changes recorded before additional work begins.
How soon can my project start?
Tell us your preferred timing when you get in touch. Scheduling depends on the agreed scope, material availability and any applicable approvals. Confirm the proposed start and sequence when reviewing your project proposal.
How are permits and inspections handled?
Requirements depend on the property and proposed work. Discuss responsibility for permits, notifications and inspections while the scope is being developed. A rental or separate dwelling needs a property-specific review before its scope is finalized.
Who performs the electrical work?
Electrical services are available through Dancey Creative Contracting and the electrical contractors registered to our business. Your project quote identifies the responsible electrical contractor and applicable licence details. Contact Dancey Creative directly to discuss smart homes, EV chargers, pot lights and solar.
